My name is Daixin Yin, mother of three, and a twenty year resident of Elk Grove.

 I first met Heidi in 2023 at a EGUSD board committee meeting. She spoke softly but her care for all the students was evident and genuine, and her message clear and strong. I am delighted to hear that Heidi is running for the Elk Grove school board. What really impressed me is that she wants to be a voice for parents. This is very important to me, a first generation immigrant, because many immigrant parents I personally know do not have a voice in Elk Grove schools. 

Like families from other diverse ethnic backgrounds in Elk Grove, Asian families value our children’s education as well family harmony highly. I believe that Heidi would be a great representative for families like mine. Therefore, I gladly give my endorsement for Heidi Moore. — Daixin Yin
