My name is Heidi and I'm a mother to four children in Elk Grove Unified School District. My husband and I have lived in South Rancho Cordova for 11 years. Our children are currently attending schools within the district at the elementary, middle school, and high school level. I have been actively involved in my children’s education, through volunteering and advocacy at their schools and at the district level.

I want to be a voice for parents. Parents deserve to have a voice about important topics that concern them in regard to their children's education, curriculum, schools, tax dollars, and more. As a trustee of Area 7, I will ensure that families' concerns are heard. I will fight for new secondary schools for our area, and advocate for the best resources for our students.

It's time we have new representation for our area. As a trustee of Area 7, I will bring a fresh energy, enthusiasm, and commitment as I strive to serve students, parents, staff and community members. I will work tirelessly to visit school sites, listen to parents and community members, and work with all stakeholders to do what is best for our students.
